The Campo School District is committed to a policy of nondiscrimination in relation to race, national origin, religion, age, gender, marital status, or physical handicap under the provisions of Titles VI and IX of the 1972 Educational Amendments, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (PL 101-336), the Individuals with Disabilities Act (PL 101-476), the Education of the Handicapped Act Amendments of 1990, and the Family Rights and Privacy Act of 1994.


Inquiries concerning the application of nondiscrimination policies may be referred to the Office of Superintendent.



Purpose.  The Administration recognizes that situations may arise in the operation of the school, which are of concern to parents or to the public.   The Administration believes that all concerns should be resolved at the lowest possible level of decision-making by the individuals involved.  Concerns are best dealt with using open communication by the individuals involved.  Therefore, the purpose of these complaint

procedures is to resolve, at the lowest possible level, and as expeditiously as possible, complaints of any person regarding any school matter.


Procedures:  Any person with a complaint or concerning a school matter is encouraged to first talk with the school official or employee involved as soon as possible.  If it is not possible to find reach a resolution at that meeting, the person with a complaint should discuss the matter with the Principal and request the appropriate forms from the office.
